Nearly five years ago, little house began as an antidote to disconnection. What started over Zoom during the first Covid lockdown became a place for human connection—for our core artists, for dancers who train with us, and for audiences who find something meaningful in the work.
little house is stepping into a powerful moment of change. This year, we’re transitioning from an LLC into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit—building the kind of foundation this work deserves. We’ve also formed our first board and advisors, who are working alongside us as we navigate new territory, ask good questions, and shape what comes next.

Inspired by a form of contemporary dance partnering titled “skin, muscle, bone,” as well as the layers of depth within the body: skin as the initial surface, muscle as the tissue beneath, and bone as the structure that holds everything together.
